Thomas Vallero is more than just a dancer-he’s an inspiration. Dedicated to sharing his unique gift with whoever is willing to learn, his devotion to others is as unshakable as his love of dancing. Like most performers, he began honing his craft at the young age of 16. Reared in San Francisco, a birthplace for big dreams, Thomas first interest began on the streets where breakdancing sparked his urge to freestyle and begin his journey to learn more about hip hop dance. Cradling his first dance group in high school he immensed himself in different styles of dance such as popping and locking. Throughout college he trained under Funksters SF, at the time directed by Mariel Martin, Emerson Aquino and Kyle Hanagami. He danced with Akbayan Dance Group of San Jose and Soulidified Project from the East Bay where he learned from Mappy Mappala. “My motivation for dancing is the new styles and flavors of music that are constantly evolving.
